Upcoming Photo Exhibit - December 8-19th, 2008

The Assassination of Lincoln: Teardown of a Century-Old Mill - This photographic exhibit by writer/director Lorre Fritchy depicts the dismantling of the 100+ year old Lincoln Foods mill building in Lawrence, MA in varying stages mid-2008. Part of the takedown was also filmed for Fritchy's movie Millies (see footage of this shoot at http://www.youtube.com/lfritchy).

Fritchy's photographs will be on display for two weeks at the Essex Art Center, kicking off Monday, December 8th with a special Artists' Reception from 6:30-8:30pm, free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibit will run in the main gallery from 10-6pm, from 12/09/08 to 12/19/08. Free admission. (56 Island Street, Lawrence MA)

Visit the exhibit to witness the haunting beauty and rubbled remains of history as Lincoln falls, brick by brick.
